Ready for some aca-awesome fashion news? The ‘Pitch Perfect 2′ funny lady can act and sing her socks off, but now she’s adding a new title to her resume — designer!

When it comes to rocking the red carpet, Rebel Wilson, 29, isn’t afraid to make a statement. From bold, bright dresses to plunging necklines and sheer detailing, she knows how to turn heads with her sense of style — and now you can add a little Rebel to your look, thanks to the Rebel for Torrid line. The actress teamed up with the plus-size brand to create a capsule collection that will feature affordable, stylish looks — and her personal touches are all over the line.

Rebel Wilson’s Clothing Line With Torrid:

From microphone-shaped hardware to a koala-print tee, the entire collection is infused with Rebel’s personal sense of style — and it turns out that affordable and fashionable plus-size clothing is something the star is passionate about. She said: “I’ve had a ‘torrid’ affair with buying clothes all my life. I’ve never really felt like there’s a brand out there in the plus size world that is creating cool stuff, that fits well and is good quality yet affordable. It’s really only been in the last few years that I’ve seen companies try. So it was awesome to team with Torrid, who I think are doing such a great
job in making plus size fashion relevant and dope. I’ve been loving designing the clothes for my capsule collection. I’ve been putting my unique style and personal loves into the clothing and literally can’t wait for the collection to launch!”

Rebel For Torrid Coming Holiday 2015:

The line marks the brand’s first fashion collaboration — and we couldn’t think of a better star for them to team up with. The Rebel for Torrid collection, slated for a November 2015 release, will launch just in time for holiday and will include 25 pieces ranging in price from $28.50-$125. From chic separates, like jackets and bottoms to dresses and accessories, it’ll have everything you need for the season and will be available in stores and online for sizes 12-28.
While many celebs love to launch fashion lines, Rebel was involved every step of the way. Liz Munoz, Torrid SVP of Design, was impressed with her hands-on approach. “Rebel’s got a natural instinct for design. She’s been totally hands-on throughout the process. She cares about every detail, down to the diamante rivet on the jeans. We love the results… she crushed it,” she said in a release from the brand.
